Atlanta is a city worth believing in, worth investing in, and worth calling 'home.'
My name is Lily - actually, it's Elisabeth, but my friends call me Lily - and I have lived in and around Atlanta most of my life. Georgia Tech is my Alma Mater (BS Economics 2000), Georgia State granted my MBA in Marketing in 2005. My dog came from the Atlanta Humane Society (Hello, Dr. Gloria Dorsey!!), and on Sundays you will usually see me at or near Piedmont Park with my dog and a bottle of Odwalla juice. "Peachtree Street" is the name of my 3 year old horse; my office is at Peachtree Street at 17th, and my favorite shopping areas are on Peachtree Road. I only know of three actual Peach trees in Atlanta, and they are over near Grant Park. In the past 10 years, I've lived in Marietta, Douglasville, Newnan, Dunwoody, Midtown, and over by Piedmont Park. Now I live in Decatur, and love the small-town/neighborhood feeling that's 10 minutes from the big city.
When it comes to really knowing and understanding an area, anyone can pull up the statistics on schools or proximity to a public service facility, but to truly understand the dynamics of a city, it helps to have a friend that knows about the history and dynamicism of an area. I love Atlanta. Yes, it's a quirky town with traffic and weird zoning, strange streets and asymetrical blocks, but it's home. If you are considering relocating to Atlanta, or moving from one neighborhood to another, please consider giving me a call: Houses, Townhomes, Condos, 1031c exchanges, Relocations, and more.
